october 2023 - nic cowper watercolour snow scene

On 26th October PACS members were treated to a demonstration by Nic Cowper creating a landscape snow scene.

Nic was very entertaining, with a good helping of humour and useful tips.  We hope to have him back for a workshop in the future.  With 40 attendees, this was the final and best attended event of the 2023 demonstration programme.

SEPTEMBER 2023 - RICK HOLMES - THAMES RIVER SCENE -

A lovely evening with Rick Holmes at the September demonstration at Hearne Leisure Centre.   He was very amusing and shared so many of his techniques. He amazed us by starting from from his acrylic ink splodges to his beautifully crafted pastel river scene.

Our workshop coordinator was quick to approach Rick about doing a workshop in the future.

august 2023 - St. Huberts church sketchout day

On 7th August we had a sketchout day at St Huberts Church near Finchdean.  The rain held off but the clouds provided some dramatic skies, and the sunflowers were in full bloom.   Thanks to Margaret Newbigin who stepped in at the eleventh hour to meet & greet a dozen members who found the location inspiring, as can be seen from these images of their work and the location.

June 2023 - Kim Page FLORAL WATERCOLOUR

Kim Page provided us with a wonderful demonstration of his watercolour techniques with a floral arrangement.  Hoping Kim will be available to run a workshop next year.
